Cancer (June 22 to July 22)

Cancer, the fourth Sign of the Zodiac, it is all about feelings. They are maternal, domestic and love to nurture others. They are happy when they home life is harmonious. They love their home and are devoted romantics.  They wear their hearts on their sleeves and are quick to retreat into their shells if it suits their mood.

Cancerians are moody, and if they don’t feel like talking, it’s best to leave them alone until they want to come out and play again. They will eventually.

They are tenacious and strong-willed and like to get their way. If their kindness and gentleness doesn't do the trick, they will manipulate the situation to make things happen and if that doesn’t work, they will simply sulk again, even crying a river if they have to. They can be overly sensitive and easily hurt. They usually have a very good intuition. They need to guard against becoming selfish and feeling sorry for themselves. They are quick to help and tend to avoid confrontation.

Ruled by the Moon, the Great Mother of the heavens.  The Moon is associated with fertility and moods, and Cancers have plenty of those.  The Element associated with Cancer is Water.
